Dear A-dee,

How's everything? It's fall here in New York and it gets pretty cold at night. How about Taichung? Is it still hot there?

Mom told me that you have a girlfriend now. Don't you think you're too young for that? You're only fourteen! Sure, we all need friends. But, Mom said that you spend hours on the phone talking to her and your grades are dropping. I think you should concentrate on your studies for now and wait a few more years to have a girlfriend.

Think about it, OK?

Love always,

Your sister
